Post beginners - really pretty top

You'll get the most out of this workshop if you have some sewing machine skills already.  If you've never used a sewing machine before, we recommend you try one of our Absolute Beginner workshops first.

This workshop is all about improving sewing machine skills and mastering some dressmaking basics to give you the confidence to follow patterns.

We'll teach you how to wind a bobbin, thread a sewing machine, adapt a simple pattern to your own size, cut and pin fabric, sew a dart, sew straight and curved seams and finish those seams. 

And ta-da!  You'll make a really pretty top to take home and prance about in (feeling very proud of yourself).

All fabric and sewing materials provided.  Includes refreshments.

This workshop will run as two 3 hour sessions:
